The Chandler Project is an open source, standards-based personal information manager (PIM) built around small group collaboration and a core set of information management workflows modelled on Inbox usage patterns and David Allen’s GTD methodology. Chandler is sponsored by the Mitch Kapor lead Open Source Applications Foundation.
I played around with it this weekend, and it’s interesting. If if can improve my productivity with email in any way shape or form I would be interested. Not familiar with David Allen’s methodologies past the Business 2.0 article but there’s got to be a better way to deal with email, calendar, tasks, and all that other information that shapes my life at work and at home.
Chandler’s probably worth watching.
