Now, thanks to Romanian developer Alexandru Bălan, Pear OS lives a new life under the name pearOS, based on the Arch Linux distribution and featuring a highly customized KDE Plasma desktop environment to mimic the look and feel of recent macOS versions with Liquid Gel design.
