Simple bit rot-resilient Backup Solution for macOS and Linux

I don’t know if bit rot can be a real problem, but I have zero desire to find out when it’s too late. So I’ve tweaked and extended the Bash shell scripts I use to back up data to my data fridge. Now, instead of single script, I have three.
