Powered by the upcoming Linux 7.3 kernel series and using the latest Mesa 26.2 graphics stack, Ubuntu 26.10 Beta ships today with the recently released GNOME 51 desktop environment and the 100% Rust coreutils migration, as the default core utilities now run entirely on the Rust-based uutils implementation.
