“Sun Microsystems today apologize to the Blackdown Open Source
community that ported the Java SDK to Linux. “Our stance is an
apologetic one,” said Rick Schultz, Java 2 standard edition
product manager at Sun.”

Sun and Inprise took the work of the Blackdown community
without giving the community credit for their work.
“I have
resigned from the Java-Linux porting effort”, said Kevin B.
