Continuing its strides into the desktop user, Corel Corp.
and Creative Labs have jointly announced a partnership which will
see Corel Linux as the first Linux distribution to have easy
installation of Creative Labs’ Sound Blaster Live! And Personal
Digital Entertainment Solutions Support.

“Currently, Creative already makes drivers for its Sound Blaster
line freely available at its web site which users will have to
manually install and set up. In addition, Corel will be working on
expanding and further co-developing Creative’s Linux drivers for
Linux.”
