 INUS Technology, Inc. is pleased to announce the pre-release of
CMeister, and to celerbrate the annoucement, INUS Technology, Inc. shall
distribute "CMeister for Linux Version 1.0" as a freeware.  ( see
http://www.cmeister.com )

 CMeister is an IDE (Integrated Development Environment) for developing
applications in C language.  It supports basic IDE features such as source
editing, compiling, application building, multi-level debugging, version
controlling, etc. In addition, it provides advanced features such as
WorkPlace/Project management, CPU profiling, source coverage analysis, etc.
For embedded systems application developers, it supports muti-targeted and
cross-platform application development.

 CMeister is designed as a platform-independent IDE and implemented purely
in Java. Therefore, it can be easily ported to other operating systems and
customized for specific application development along with in-house OS,
RTOS, and/or compilers.  Followings are the major features of CMeister.

 
- Project Manager Workplace and project management, source version control,
  compile/build/debug/run, header file dependency check, etc.
- Source Editor C-Syntax coloring, unlimited undo and redo, compiling error
  indication, etc.
- Debugger Source level debugging, next/step/go to/continue/kill,
  disassemble, stack/watch/memory/register window, etc.
- Code comparer Source files comparison (line-by-line)
- Coverage Test/Profiling Tool Execute coverage test/profilng and view test
  results (e.g., function call times, etc.).
