ABC News: Torvalds’ Creation a Big Deal

“Linux founder Linus Torvalds seemed to enjoy his first major
coming out party as thousands of software developers, analysts and
computer users descended upon LinuxWorld.

At times bashful, at times brash, Torvalds told Linux developers
that they are no longer working on a small system. ‘We’re up there
with the big boys and the big boys are getting nervous,’ he
said.”

‘It’s still an underground phenomena, but this is probably the

Linuxcare, a San Francisco-based company that helps support
