“Linux 2.2 has been out for a couple of weeks now. It’s proving
remarkably stable for a first release product. Thats not to say
there haven’t been some bugs, but 2.2.1 has swatted the major ones.
The obvious question therefore is ‘Should I upgrade to 2.2’.”

Performance, filesystem additions, application bugs, upgrade
advice, sound support, networking, nfs, hardware ports, and much
more are described in nice detail, by the “man himself”, Alan
Cox.
