ANNOUNCEMENT RELEASE Atlanta, Ga., October 8, 1999–All you
Linux gurus out there who are going to be in Atlanta for the
Atlanta Linux Showcase need to stop by the Linux General Store on
Tuesday October 12 at 7:00 pm for a free Linux Quake tournament and
Hardware Forum.

As a kick-off to the Atlanta Linux Showcase, the Linux General
Store will be allowing any interested persons to visit the store as
a pre-showcase gathering. We’re going to have food and drinks
available, and we’ll be open until 4:00 am!

In addition to the Linux Quake tournament, technicians will be
available for questions in regards to Linux hardware, software,
systems, and servers. Attendees will have the opportunity to: bring
in their Linux OS computers for consultation, exchange information,
and experiment on the variety of platforms running Linux, including
an IBM Netfinity, an IBM Netstation, a MacIntosh G4, and a Sun
Sparc.
