“Red Hat KK is exhibiting a new software package called “Do
Office 1.2J” that combines the Linux operating system and office
software compatible with Microsoft Corp.’s Office suite.”
“Korea-based Hancom Linux Inc. and its affiliate in Japan
jointly developed the office software. The version of Linux
used in the package is “Vine Linux 2.1CR.”
“A follow-up product, Do Office 2.0, scheduled to become
available in June, also will be able to support Excel graphs and
object linking and embedding (OLE) functions.”
