JOPLIN, MISSOURI – JUNE 18, 1999 Today Atipa Linux Solutions, a
leading manufacturer of Linux workstations, servers, and clusters,
announced that it would be sponsoring the ZD Open Source Forum in
Austin, Texas on June 30 and July 1. Jason Talley, President and
CEO of Atipa Linux Solutions, will be a panelist at the Forum. He
plans to talk on the benefits of Open Source and to let everyone
know why Linux can work for them now more than ever. “Linux is now
ready for virtually everyone,” states Talley. The Open Source Forum
will give Jason the chance to promote Linux and “speak directly to
senior level IT decision-makers and corporate developers,”
according to David Scacco of Ziff Davis Studios.

“Downtime is not acceptable when it comes to business critical
systems such as point of sale, financial applications, and Web
servers. Our proven workstation and server technology will allow
Linux to further expand in markets that were previously exclusively
Microsoft’s,” stated Jason Talley.

Atipa Linux Solutions has been distributing Linux workstations,
servers, and clusters since 1994, making them the first dedicated
Linux systems company. Atipa Linux Solutions is based in Joplin,
Missouri and is privately held. The company can be reached at
417.206.2439 or at www.atipa.com. All trademarks are the
