What’s new in Audacity 2.0.4 RC1? Well, this first Release Candidate introduces a brand-new “Reverb” effect based on the original “Freeverb” one, replacing the old GVerb, adds “Go to Selection Start” and “Go to Selection End” commands in the View menu, and adds an “Align End to End” command for appending existing tracks to each other. Moreover, Audacity 2.0.4 RC1 adds support for fractional BPM to Change Tempo, support for FFT sizes up to 65536 in Plot Spectrum, as well as support for “Album Title,” “Track Number,” “Genre” LIST INFO and ID3 tags for WAV files.
