your ears as he yells at you over what sounds like aeroplanes
taking off, you start to appreciate the truth: here is a man who
knows what he’s on about.

“Tridgell, who says he would just print ‘Tridge’ on his business
card if only his uptight American employers would let him, is one
of the leading lights in the free-software movement. He’s not as
famous as Linus Torvalds or Richard Stallman, but his role is
nonetheless a central one if free software is to take over the
world, as many of its proponents hope…”
