Applixware Office Suite for Linux, Version 4.2.2.”
“Applixware 4.4.2 builds on the extensive productivity features
of the package, which includes Words, Spreadsheets, Graphics,
Presents, Mail and Data. It also incorporates an Open Source
Software architecture that enables programmers and developers to
access the core Applixware runtime environment. Applix’s SHELF
product, an Open Source Software toolset including runtime, similar
to Microsoft®’s Visual Basic, is now fully compatible with
Applixware. Modifications, extensions and enhancements made to the
SHELF system are now fully plug and play compatible with Applixware
4.4.2. In addition, Applixware 4.4.2 includes updated filters to
allow document interchange between Microsoft Office 2000, and
support for the Euro currency symbol.”
