announced that it would make its TestBuilder C++ testbench class
library available through open source licensing — the first such
tool to be available on this basis. The company will provide free
and open access to its TestBuilder library — as well as on-going
source code management — as the community of developers
grows.”

to develop interoperable testbenches for chip or system design
verification. In addition, Cadence announced the initial
participants in a Developers Forum, which includes Sun
Microsystems, CynApps, and ASIC Alliance. Developers Forum

the TestBuilder development team.”
