“Communication Intelligence Corporation (CIC) … announced
today that it has completed an agreement with MiddleSoft
Incorporated to license CIC’s Jot(R) handwriting recognition system
and e-signature software development kit, InkTools(TM), for use on
the Linux operating system.”

“Mike Farr, President and Founder of MiddleSoft commented, “We
are pleased to be working with CIC on this project. The development
by CIC and MiddleSoft is expected to result in compelling products
to empower new generations of wireless Internet appliances. We look
forward to the un-veiling of the product in the near future.”

“Once this development effort is completed, CIC’s Jot
handwriting recognition and e-signature capabilities will be
implemented in MiddleSoft’s graphical user interface. The
interface is well suited for handheld devices and Internet
information appliances and can be integrated with new and existing
widget frameworks on Linux such as QT and GTK.
