“The IntelliPort II serial device drivers are now contained
in the Linux source code database beginning with versions 2.2.12
and 2.3.15 of the kernel source distributions. The 2.2.x
series is the current production release series of Linux kernels.
The 2.3.x series of kernels are currently under development. The
development series will eventually transition to the next
production release, which will be version 2.4.x kernels.”
