“Concurrent Computer…announced today, at its worldwide
Real-Time User Meeting in Fort Lauderdale, FL, that it will offer a
suite of system solutions and software development tools based on
the Linux operating system.”

Concurrent will offer a Linux version of its highly
acclaimed NightStar(TM) Development Tools and its high-performance
C/C++, FORTRAN, and Ada compilers.

“This offering will provide Concurrent’s customers the
opportunity to develop and debug complex multiprocessing
applications in Concurrent’s integrated software development
environment while taking advantage of the Linux operating system
and the inherent advantages that this open system environment
offers. Developers will now have the option to run their real-time
multiprocessing applications using Concurrent’s real-time operating
system, PowerMAX OS(TM), or run their open systems real-time
applications using the Linux operating system — all developed,
designed, and tested using the same comprehensive suite of
NightStar Development Tools.”
