“GraphOn…announced that Corel Corporation will use GraphOn’s
Bridges(TM) software to allow access to Windows applications from
Corel’s(R) Linux desktops.”

Bridges allows virtually any display device to access any
Windows, UNIX, and Linux applications over the Internet, dial-up,
and any other type of connection.
Both Bridges and Corel’s
Linux operating system debuted November 15 at COMDEX/Fall
1999.”

“Although Corel is making Linux on the desktop a reality, the
need to run Windows applications still exists today,” said Dr.
Michael Cowpland, President and CEO of Corel. “By using GraphOn’s
Bridges we’re able to address this issue and help our users
facilitate and speed the migration of Linux to the corporate
desktop. In addition, Bridges allows our users to run Corel
applications on thin client devices.”
