“GraphOn Corporation (Nasdaq:GOJO) (www.graphon.com) today
announced the release of the OEM version of WinBridge(TM) (formerly
codenamed jBridge(TM)), the component of its Bridges(TM) software
that allows quick and easy access to Windows(R) applications over
the Internet, without changing the applications code. Unlike other
server-based software solutions, GraphOn WinBridge does not require
licensing of the Microsoft NT kernel to deploy Windows applications
to any desktop over any connection. Bridges, GraphOn’s thin
server-based software announced earlier this year, web-enables
UNIX(R), Linux(R), and Windows applications, providing a more
complete connectivity solution for application service providers
(ASPs), independent software vendors (ISVs) and developers, and the
enterprise….”

We’ve changed our successful ‘GO’ series to express exactly
what GraphOn does. We provide the ‘Bridges’ that connect any
Windows, UNIX, or Linux application to any desktop anywhere in the
world over any connection
, said GraphOn Executive Vice
President, Sales and Marketing, Robin Ford. “Applications
web-enabled with Bridges are easily deployed and run at the desktop
as if they are running locally, without costly software rewrites
(no modifications of the applications code are required), and
without a featureless page-oriented HTML or XML front end. IT
managers, ISVs, and ASPs can easily use the Bridges components that
fit their computing needs and instantly web-enable their
applications, while lowering total cost of ownership and allowing
for scalability.”
