“Integrated Software & Devices Corporation, a leader in
embedded Linux, today announced it has signed a strategic agreement
with ARM. Following its successful demonstration and port of
the Linux kernel 2.2 to the ARM7 processor last November, ISDCorp
will provide Royal Linux for ARM partners.

“Having recently announced the production availability of Royal
Linux and the port of Linux 2.2.1, ISDCorp is working to ensure
that any systems manufacturer using ARM RISC processors can now
take advantage of the footprint and speed of Royal Linux for their
devices, at a cost considerably lower than that of other embedded
operating systems.”

“This agreement with ISDCorp provides immediate availability of
a proven embedded Linux solution for developers of ARM Powered
solutions, who are faced with demands for faster time-to-market and
reduced costs for their products,” stated Rod Crawford, Director of
Third Party Software Products for ARM.”
