“IDG World Expo today announced preliminary registration
demographics for the upcoming LinuxWorld Conference and Expo to be
held in New York City, New York, February 1 – 4, 2000 at the Jacob
Javits Convention Center. Information Technology and financial
managers comprise 30 percent of the registrations and 40 percent
are devoted to software and systems development. All 50 states and
23 countries will be represented in New York including Japan,
Israel, India and Venezuela. LinuxWorld Conference & Expo is
the premiere event for supporters, investors and enthusiasts of the
Linux operating system.”
