“These drivers are the first that have been written specifically
for Logitech WingMan gaming devices in cooperation with Logitech
engineering and that are based upon Logitech hardware
specifications. The fact that Logitech worked directly with the
author of the drivers, Vojtech Pavlik, ensures that the drivers are
of high quality.”

“Logitech is one of the first companies to have released
hardware specifications and given assistance in developing Linux
human input device drivers,” said Vojtech Pavlik. “I hope that this
will set a new trend.”

“In keeping with the spirit of Linux, the source code and
documentation for the drivers is available free from Vojtech
Pavlik’s web site at
http://atrey.karlin.mff.cuni.cz/~vojtech/joystick. This source code
can also be used as a base for independent developers of drivers
for other operating systems.”
