“MODCOMP Inc., a subsidiary of CSP Inc. (NASDAQ:CSPI), announces
ScadaBase(TM), a new, graphically enhanced, menu-driven, and
user-configurable Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA)
applications software package.”

“ScadaBase supports batch and continuous process control
applications for industries such as energy, metals, oil and gas,
rubber and plastics, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, pulp and paper,
and food and beverages. ScadaBase is available for Intel(R)
processor based platforms running the Linux(TM) operating system or
the REAL/IX PX(R) operating system, MODCOMP’s real-time
implementation of UNIX(R) operating system.”

“”ScadaBase is based on a fully open hardware and software
systems architecture,” stated John Clary, President of MODCOMP,
Inc. The modular software architecture, coupled with commercially
available hardware, provides an unparalleled platform for system
expansion, scalability, and interoperability with external business
