“MSC.Software Corp. (MSC) (NYSE:MNS), the world’s leading
developer of simulation software, Tuesday announced the launch of
MSC.NASTRAN for use on the Linux operating system.”

“The software may be ordered directly from MSC.Software now and
will also be available later this month through
MSC.Engineering-e.com’s recently announced onDemand Licensing
Facility, the first vertical application service provider (ASP)
developed exclusively for the engineering community.”

MSC.NASTRAN for Linux is an integral part of MSC.Software’s
market strategy to expand its addressable market by including
individuals engaged in all engineering activities.
These
include the growing numbers of independent engineers, entrepreneurs
and engineering consultants.”
