“Bob Schechter, Natural MicroSystems’ chairman and CEO stated,
“This quarter was significant for Natural MicroSystems as we saw
the early signs of a return to revenue growth…

“We are executing a tightly focused strategy of bringing Open
Telecommunications based solutions to the growing convergence
driven infrastructure equipment and solutions markets and we
continue to gain support from major OEMs based on that
strategy.”

“Natural MicroSystems addressed the immediate needs of the
rapidly growing Linux community by announcing that Linux drivers
were publicly available through the open-source code model for its
Alliance Generation DSP boards.
Developers can use these
drivers to build a wide range of telecommunications applications on
Linux — from Web-enabled call centers to IP telephony gateways and
speech recognition systems.”
