“NetZero, Inc. (Nasdaq:NZRO), a leading provider of advertising
and commerce-supported Internet access, today announced that it
will offer a Linux version of its Z3 software.”

“With this special version, NetZero has jump-started its Linux
strategy and intends to build relationships with other companies in
the emerging Linux market. NetZero currently serves more than 4
million registered users, all of whom rely on the Windows operating
environment. The Z3 software is available at www.netzero.net, or by
calling 800/DEFENDER.”

The Linux version of the Z3 software delivers
near-identical functionality to its Windows counterpart, which was
enhanced earlier this spring. Highlighting the Z3 software is a
completely redesigned ZeroPort, the custom navigational tool that
is an on-screen device for NetZero subscribers, providing instant
“speed-dial” to key Web sites and NetZero features.
With a
single click, users now have the ability to dock the ZeroPort at
the bottom of the screen, maximizing available display space and
keeping the user’s toolbar completely unobstructed.”
