BW: UniComp Signs Linux Software License Agreement With RoTech

“UniComp…subsidiary, Unibol, today announced a contract with
RoTech Medical Corporation of Orlando, Florida, for custom software
development and associated licenses that will allow RoTech to use
Linux-based web servers to access corporate applications and data.
RoTech will use this new technology for web-based reporting, hybrid
systems capabilities and e-commerce. Financial terms were not
disclosed.”

“RoTech has been using Unibol products for several years to run
its corporate operations. This new development allows RoTech to
continue to use its existing software yet capitalize on the
cost-effective solutions offered by Linux servers.
“Extending
Unibol’s feature set will allow us to bridge the gap between our
proven legacy applications and our emerging browser-based systems,”
said Albert Prast, Chief Technology Officer at RoTech.”

“We, at UniComp, are pleased to assist a long-standing client
such as RoTech in their implementation of Linux,” said Stephen A.
Hafer, President and CEO of UniComp. “This is the first Linux
contract won by Unibol since our very recent announcement of our
entry into the Linux market. We look forward to signing additional
contracts, not only from our current client list, but from new
clients as well.”
