environment in 1998, capturing more than 17 percent of all server
operating system shipments. VERITAS Software currently provides
backup clients for popular Linux distributions, including Red Hat
Linux and SuSE Linux, and has development plans to support Caldera
OpenLinux and TurboLinux. With VERITAS Backup Exec(TM) and VERITAS
NetBackup(TM), Linux servers and workstations are fully
