BW: Woodwind Partners with TollBridge to Advance Voice-Over-DSL Interoperability

“Woodwind Communications Systems, Inc., the leading provider of
Service Intelligent network access equipment for service carriers
and emerging service providers, and TollBridge Technologies, a
leading developer of high-quality voice-over-broadband solutions
for a new generation of carriers, today announced that they have
expanded their partnership to provide end-to-end voice over DSL
solutions.”

“Woodwind is joining with other leading manufacturers in
TollBridge’s Voice of Broadband Alliance, a leadership initiative
designed to accelerate large-scale deployments by promoting
interoperability and standardization among broadband equipment
vendors….”

TollBridge is making available a GNU GPL (General Public
License) version of its DSL Forum-compliant IAD protocol.
The
code will be available from the TollBridge website to facilitate
rapid partner development and break down barriers to
interoperability.”
