Canada Computes: Linux-based HTML tool [Bluefish] a coder’s best friend

“Learning HyperText Markup Language (HTML) is relatively easy.
(I learned it about 3 years ago.) All you need is a simple text
editor. You can use the HTML editors that are available online, but
someone who writes all their HTML in a simple text editor will get
much the same results as someone who uses a program which generates
HTML.”

“Editors for HTML outside of plain text editors take two forms.
There are the what-you-see-is-what-you-get (WYSIWYG) editors
and there are the text editor hybrids that can work as normal text
editors, but have lots of added buttons and wizards to make your
HTML writing a lot simpler. Bluefish falls into the latter
category, which just happens to be my favourite type of
editor.
