“The second greatest game I’ve ever played was a game called
Scorched Tanks, on the Amiga. The concept was simple. You have a
tank. You set the angle of your gun, the power of your shot and
then fire at your opponent. The best part was all the different
weaponry at your disposal.”

“…Now there’s XScorch, a Linux version of the game for X
Windows. It’s been around for a while but the other day I just
decided to download it. It’s been a while since I downloaded a new
game, and I figured I could use the distraction.”

…One final word of advice: these sorts of games are the
most fun if you’re trying to blow up a friend. Find a friend, fire
up the game and watch the expletives fly.
