“Corel Corporation today announced it has signed a Department
Individual Standing Offer (DISO), with Public Works and Government
Services Canada, for Corel business and graphics applications, with
a potential value of $4,000,000.”

“DISO allows Canadian federal government departments,
agencies, andcrown corporations to license Corel products at
pre-negotiated terms and conditions as well as access to the Corel
product line at a reduced rate.”

“‘Corel is giving government choice and flexibility, especially
nowthat Linux is included with our multi-platform licensing,’ said
Dr. Michael Cowpland, president and chief executive officer of
Corel Corporation. ‘This ensures the flexibility needed by
government to move forward. If they decide to take advantage of the
cost saving, stability and power of Linux they will not have to
re-license their office suite.'”
