CCN: Corel Signs Worldwide Deal with HP

Corel today announced a worldwide OEM agreement with
Hewlett-Packard Company, a leading global provider of computing and
imaging solutions and services for business and the home.

“Corel Print House 2000 (PC) will be bundled with the HP ScanJet
4300C scanner, which is targeted to the home market. This bundling
agreement will include a number of localized versions of Corel
Print House 2000: International English, English, French, Italian,
German, Spanish, Dutch, Brazilian Portuguese, Traditional Chinese,
Simplified Chinese and Korean.”

“Corel and HP have shared a long and exciting relationship,
partnering in the past to bring users tremendous value and
enhanceproductivity,” said Jon Riis, director of North American OEM
salesfor Corel Corporation. “By partnering with HP, the world’s
largestscanner manufacturer, Corel has the opportunity to build on
the vast worldwide consumer base of HP and deliver a high quality,
easy-to-use, photo editing and graphics package.”
