Thanks to jrj for the
tip.

The author of the Windows-based software (freeware) program,
CDex, is considering making his software available as open
source.

“CDex is a freeware application which is able to record audio
tracks from a CD-ROM, and save those files to disk in either
regular WAV file.”

“I’m thinking about to make Cdex Open source, if you think you
can make a contribution to improve CDex (software develops, Web
Designers, Graphic Designers etc) please drop me an e-mail
(mailto:cdex@geocities.com). I made a small page with some more
detailed information about the open source ideas, see [ this page
]
.”
