“Q: What do you believe Microsoft really thinks of its Windows
products?”

“A: I bet they aren’t very proud of it, from a technical point
of view. Any programmer you talk to doing Windows level
programming, at some point he really wanted to change something,
and he couldn’t because there were programs that were dependent on
it. I suspect the technical people inside Microsoft aren’t proud of
what they are doing. They may be proud of being part of the most
successful software corporation ever, but I don’t think they are
proud of the code….”
