“Gnome will be included in the next Linux release by Red Hat,
the leading vendor of prepackaged Linux systems. Gnome will also be
included in the next release of LinuxPPC, a version of the Linux OS
for the PowerPC, the hardware platform used by Macintosh computers.
LinuxPPC president Jeff Carr said his company has to deal with Mac
users, who have high standards for ease of use.”
