CNET News.com: Corel lays off 10 percent of work force to cut costs

“Canadian software company Corel, which makes WordPerfect and
CorelDraw, said it is laying off 139 employees at its Dublin
office
–or about 10 percent of the company’s work force
worldwide–to save money.”

“The company said that over the next three months it will lay
off employees involved in translating software as part of
a package to save $40 million. About 15 people will remain to
oversee manufacturing, a spokeswoman said.”
