Losing access to features such as calendars, tasks and
shared diaries has been one of the drawbacks for companies
considering deploying Linux on the desktop.

“Using published Microsoft programming interfaces and
documentation, Bynari said it has been able to build a product
capable of bridging the gap between Windows and Linux.”

“Called Trademail, the software has been designed to operate as
a Linux-based Exchange-compatible e-mail server. The client
software half of Trademail is an Outlook-compatible e-mail reader
which supports calendar, task, contacts book and other groupware
features available within the Microsoft Exchange server.”
