“Developers soon will be able to use a popular Web application
platform for building E-business solutions on the Linux operating
environment.”

Allaire Corp. told more than 1,200 developers at its first
user conference, held here, that it will ship ColdFusion 4.5 in
December, with first-time support for Linux.

“As a result, ColdFusion 4.5 will be available for Windows NT,
Sun Microsystems Inc. Solaris, Hewlett-Packard Co. HP-UX and Linux
operating environments, said Adam Berrey, director of product
marketing at Allaire. “For resellers, this opens up the opportunity
to sell ColdFusion to the growing Linux market,” he said.”
