CRN: Corel Engineering Exec Details Linux Interface

interfaces code-named KDE and Gnome.”

Corel Corp., said the company is currently working on two Linux
interfaces fashioned after independent efforts known as code-named
KDE and GNOME.” -lt ed
]

“Burney is touting the Corel development effort as a Windowslike
interface for desktops running the Linux operating system.”

“Burney said that while Red Hat Software Inc., Research Triangle
Park, N.C., and Caldera Systems Inc., Orem, Utah, are concentrating
on the server side, Corel is targeting desktop users.”
