“Eazel’s much-anticipated launch of the Nautilus Linux desktop
and Web services platform, expected earlier this year, has been put
off until the beginning of the second quarter, Eazel executives
said at LinuxWorld this week.”

“However, the company is edging closer to shipping product.
Nautilus 1.0 Preview Release 3.0 will ship this week and
Nautilus 1.0, minus some Web services technology, will ship within
the next month, said Tom Goguen, Eazel’s director of product
marketing.”

“When the full-fledged desktop and Web services environment goes
live in the second quarter, users will be able to access a number
of Web services, including Eazel’s Software Catalog for new
application, and update downloads, Eazel’s Text-View Services and
Eazel’s Online Storage, Goguen said.”
