“Now available for Windows NT, Linux, as well as HP-UX”
” In an effort to help today’s E-commerce vendors control
unacceptably long download times, Hewlett-Packard Co. is updating
its WebQoS E-commerce monitoring tool.”
“WebQoS, which is part of HP’s E-services software technology,
now will be available on the Windows NT and Linux platforms, said
HP executives. Previously, the tool was available only on the HP-UX
midrange platform.”
“Unacceptable download times and outages are a growing concern
and could result in as much as $4.35 billion dollars in lost sales,
according to a recent study by Zona Research, Redwood City,
Calif.”
