CRN: Linux Creator Charts Future For OS

“Linus Torvalds, the low-key creator of Linux, said he and
others are working on a new Linux kernel that scales fromhand-held
devices up to supercomputers.”

“Torvalds received a welcome usually reserved for rock stars or
spiritual gurus from an enthusiastic group of developers at
Linuxworld Expo on Tuesday night. Linux is the open-source code
variant of the Unix operating system.”

“The current kernel, version 2.2, should last two to three
