“Cygnus(R) Solutions today announced it is working with Oracle
Corp. to deliver its industry leading GNUPro(R) software
development technology for Oracle8i(TM) Linux development.”

“The agreement provides Oracle access to Cygnus GNUPro
technology, value added software components and Cygnus Developer
Support services. Cygnus, the largest vendor of Linux-based
software development tools, and Oracle, the world’s leading
supplier of software for information management, will offer Linux
users, such as small and medium sized businesses and ISPs, the
commercial tools and support required to deploy Oracle solutions on
Linux.”

based applications. With the delivery of Oracle8i on Linux, the
Linux marketplace has access to powerful database technologies for
