For those of you who may not be familiar, Docker Machine is a tool to simplify the automatic creation and configuration of Docker-enabled machines, whether they are VMs running locally in Virtualbox or on a cloud provider such as Amazon Web Services. It is sort of a spiritual successor (and eventual replacement) to the venerable boot2docker-cli. It makes me very happy to be able to quickly spin up Docker-capable instances which one can connect to quickly and securely using automatically-configured TLS, and I find it is very useful to be able to manage local VMs as well as VMs running in cloud providers.
