“If you read our Gentus 2.0 review, then you’ll know that Abit’s
key feature was Abit’s PerMon, which enabled a suite of features
like temperature monitoring and overclocking right from Linux. This
was all good, but why couldn’t anyone else use this? After all,
Gentus would be required to use the GPL, since they used Red Hat’s
Rawhide code base to put together Gentus.”
