“In a research study submitted for publication in the Journal of
the American Medical Association (JAMA), Dr. Anil Prahda claims to
have discovered serious health issues stemming from the use of
open-source software (OSS). His report cites a lengthy list of
maladies tied to OSS, including several potentially fatal
illnesses.

“According to his study, ‘The rising use of OSS is the most
significant health issue in the world. My research shows that the
risks from OSS are higher than the risks of all other diseases
combined.’ In his study, Dr. Prahda concludes that each OSS
component is a potential health risk and that when users combine
OSS components, they greatly compound both the seriousness and the
complexity of their potential illnesses…”
