Duncan told ET that momentum of Linux, whose source code is
available for free, is very real.“Linux, a popular operating system alternative to Microsoft, is
migrating from simple infrastructure type applications such a file
server to complex ones, while moving from servers to desktops. In
India, IBM’s programme ‘speed start your Linux applications’ has
been responsible for the development of 2000 new Linux
